TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") are entered into on the date a booking is made or accepted through the ASC Home Cleaning SG platform.

1. RECITAL

1.1 ASC Building Service Pte Ltd (UEN No. 202240702M), trading as ASC Home Cleaning SG is a company registered in Singapore with its registered office at 176 Orchard Road Centrepoint Justco #05-05. ASC Home Cleaning SG operates a technology-based platform that is accessible via its website and/or mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"). The Platform connects end users with independent third party providers offering home-related services as listed on the Platform ("Service Providers"). Through the Platform, you may engage a Service Provider located within your vicinity for the provision of Home Services.

1.2 Please read these Terms of Use carefully before making any use of ASC Home Cleaning SG's Platform. We strongly recommend that you print a copy of these Terms of Use or store them electronically on your computer or device for future reference. If you believe that there is an error in these Terms of Use or that amendments are required, you should contact us immediately to discuss the matter prior to using the Platform.

1.3 By accessing or using ASC Home Cleaning SG's Platform, you confirm that you accept and agree to be legally bound by all the terms and conditions contained within these Terms of Use. Where you are accessing or using the Platform on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms of Use.

1.4 If you have any enquiries, concerns, or issues relating to the Platform, the services provided, or these Terms of Use, you may contact ASC Home Cleaning SG by sending a WhatsApp message to our customer service team, by electronic mail, or by writing to our registered address as stated above.

2. DEFINITIONS

  • • Booking Type refers to Weekly Bookings, Fortnightly Bookings, or Ad-Hoc Bookings.
  • • Booked Service Fee refers to the total amount payable, which consists of:
    • • fees payable to the Service Provider calculated based on the duration of the service session, including the number of hours worked;
    • • a service fee payable to ASC Home Cleaning SG as reflected in the invoice issued and calculated by reference to the duration of service;
    • • any applicable Supplementary Service Fee; and
    • • any applicable Weekend Surcharge.
  • • Booking Request means a request made by you through the ASC Home Cleaning SG Platform for the provision of a Home Service.
  • • Weekly Booking means a recurring booking where Events occur once every week.
  • • Fortnightly Booking means a recurring booking where Events occur once every two weeks.
  • • Ad-Hoc Booking means a one-time booking for a single Event.
  • • Cleaning Services refers to cleaning and housekeeping services provided by Service Providers, the scope of which shall be mutually agreed between the End User and the Service Provider prior to the commencement of the service.
  • • Vertical Services refers to services other than Cleaning Services made available through the Platform, including but not limited to air-conditioning servicing and disinfection services.
  • • Home Services refers to all services offered through the ASC Home Cleaning SG Platform, including Cleaning Services and other related services.
  • • End User, You, or Your refers to any authorised individual or entity using the ASC Home Cleaning SG Platform to request Home Services.
  • • Event means the delivery of a Home Service at the date and time specified in the confirmed Booking Request.
  • • Service Provider refers to any individual or company listed on the ASC Home Cleaning SG Platform offering Home Services.
  • • Supplementary Service Fee refers to a fee charged in addition to the Service Provider's fee, which supports platform operations and quality assurance services.
  • • Weekend Surcharge refers to an additional fee applicable to bookings scheduled on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.

3. PRIVACY AND COMMUNICATION

3.1 ASC Home Cleaning SG acts as the data controller in relation to the Platform and is responsible for the handling of your personal data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information regarding the personal data we collect, how it is used, and the rights available to you.

3.2 Where it becomes necessary to contact you, we will do so by telephone or by written communication using the contact details you have provided to us.

3.3 References to "writing" or "written" in these Terms of Use include electronic mail and other electronic communications.

4. DISCLAIMER

4.1 ASC Home Cleaning SG provides only the Platform that facilitates connections between End Users and Service Providers. ASC Home Cleaning SG does not itself provide Home Services.

4.2 ASC Home Cleaning SG does not employ Service Providers and makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the actions or omissions of any Service Provider or the quality of any Home Services provided.

4.3 If you are dissatisfied with the services rendered by a Service Provider, you agree to raise your concerns directly with the Service Provider in the first instance.

4.4 ASC Home Cleaning SG may take reasonable steps to assess Service Providers, including conducting interviews and obtaining identification and reference documentation.

4.5 You acknowledge that ASC Home Cleaning SG does not guarantee the suitability of any Service Provider and that you engage Service Providers at your own risk.

4.6 A binding agreement between you and the Service Provider is formed when ASC Home Cleaning SG issues a booking confirmation to you.

4.7 The Platform is available only for bookings within Singapore, and all Home Services must be performed within Singapore.

4.8 If you provide a Service Provider with keys or access to your premises, such arrangement is strictly between you and the Service Provider.

5. CONTENT STANDARDS

5.1 These content standards apply to all material contributed by you to the ASC Home Cleaning SG Platform. You are required to comply with both the intent and the wording of these standards.

5.2 Content submitted to the Platform must be accurate, truthful, and genuine, and must not:

  • • be defamatory toward any individual or entity;
  • • contain obscene, offensive, hateful, inflammatory, or otherwise objectionable material;
  • • promote violence or include indecent or sexually explicit material;
  • • promote discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age;
  • • infringe upon any intellectual property rights;
  • • mislead or deceive any person;
  • • encourage unlawful activities;
  • • be threatening, abusive, or invasive of privacy;
  • • impersonate any individual;
  • • relate to unauthorized commercial activities; or
  • • disclose personal information without consent.

5.3 ASC Home Cleaning SG shall not be responsible or liable to any party for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content submitted by you or other users. We do not endorse any user-generated content. All such content shall be deemed non-confidential and non-proprietary, and ASC Home Cleaning SG reserves the right to use, store, reproduce, distribute, and disclose such content to third parties, including regulatory authorities, without compensation or attribution.

5.4 ASC Home Cleaning SG reserves the right to remove, delete, or disclose any content that, in our opinion, does not comply with these Terms of Use or applicable laws. You must not attempt to repost any removed content.

5.5 By submitting content to ASC Home Cleaning SG, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, and distribute such content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.

5.6 You warrant that all content you provide: (a) is accurate, current, and not misleading; (b) is owned by you or that you have obtained all necessary rights and permissions; and (c) does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

5.7 While reasonable efforts are made to provide reliable information, ASC Home Cleaning SG does not guarantee that any content available on the Platform is accurate, complete, up to date, or continuously available.

5.8 ASC Home Cleaning SG does not accept responsibility or liability for any content provided by users or Service Providers. Responsibility rests solely with the content provider.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

6.1 ASC Home Cleaning SG grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, and revocable licence to access and use the Platform.

6.2 All intellectual property rights relating to the Platform and its content belong to ASC Home Cleaning SG or its licensors.

6.3 You must not use any content from the Platform for commercial purposes without obtaining prior written consent from ASC Home Cleaning SG or the relevant rights holder.

6.4 ASC Home Cleaning SG, its name, domain names, logos, service marks, and associated branding are protected intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms of Use grants any licence or right to use such intellectual property without express permission.

7. SERVICE PROVIDERS

7.1 You agree to:

  • • treat all Service Providers with courtesy and respect;
  • • provide a safe and lawful working environment;
  • • ensure services are performed only within the agreed scope;
  • • provide accurate and complete information; and
  • • supply necessary tools and equipment in a timely manner.

7.2 You are responsible for ensuring that your personal and service location details are accurate. Failure to provide correct information resulting in the Service Provider attending the stated location may result in a cancellation charge equal to the full Booked Service Fee.

7.3 In the event of any dispute or miscommunication, you agree to notify ASC Home Cleaning SG immediately and allow us to assist in facilitating communication.

7.4 ASC Home Cleaning SG does not guarantee the availability of any preferred Service Provider and may arrange a replacement where necessary.

7.5 If you choose not to proceed with a booked Home Service, you must cancel in accordance with Section 8.

7.6 All Home Services must be requested and accepted exclusively through the ASC Home Cleaning SG Platform. You must not engage Service Providers outside the Platform.

7.7 If a Service Provider offers services outside the Platform, you must decline and notify ASC Home Cleaning SG immediately.

7.8 Any breach of this section may result in suspension or termination of your access and a claim for compensation of losses incurred, up to a maximum of one thousand Singapore dollars.

8. CANCELLATIONS

8.1 Cancellations of single Events must be completed through the Platform to be valid.

8.2 Cancellations of multiple Events must be submitted in writing to ASC Home Cleaning SG.

8.3 Failure to complete a valid cancellation will result in applicable cancellation charges.

8.4 You may cancel an Event without charge up to twenty-four hours before its scheduled start time.

8.5 Cancellations made within twenty-four hours of the scheduled Event will incur a charge equal to one hundred percent of the Booked Service Fee.

8.6 If a Service Provider is unable to fulfil a confirmed booking, ASC Home Cleaning SG will attempt to arrange a replacement or reschedule the service at no additional cost.

8.7 Refusal of a replacement Service Provider after commencement constitutes acceptance of the service.

8.8 Refund authority rests with the Service Provider. ASC Home Cleaning SG will process refunds on their behalf once agreed.

9. CONVERSION OF BOOKING TYPE

9.1 Weekly Bookings cancelled before completion of three Events within seven weeks will be converted to Ad-Hoc Bookings.

9.2 Fortnightly Bookings cancelled before completion of five Events within fourteen weeks will be converted to Ad-Hoc Bookings.

10. TERMINATION

10.1 ASC Home Cleaning SG may terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms.

10.2 You may terminate your account provided that all outstanding balances are settled and written notice is given.

11. DATA PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY

You acknowledge and provide your consent to ASC Home Cleaning SG collecting, using, disclosing, storing, and otherwise processing your Personal Data for the purposes set out below.

ASC Home Cleaning SG may collect, use, disclose, and process your Personal Data for purposes including but not limited to:

  • • to perform obligations arising from any agreement entered into with you;
  • • to provide services in accordance with these Terms;
  • • to process, manage, and verify your application for the Service;
  • • to validate, process, and manage payments;
  • • to conduct required checks and audits;
  • • to improve and tailor services to your needs;
  • • to detect, prevent, and investigate criminal activity; and
  • • to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Marketing Communications: ASC Home Cleaning SG may contact you for marketing purposes. You may opt out by notifying us via electronic mail.

12. THIRD PARTY INTERACTIONS

Any interaction with third party providers is strictly between you and the relevant third party. ASC Home Cleaning SG does not assume responsibility for such dealings.

13. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ASC Home Cleaning SG from all claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or breach of these Terms.

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

ASC Home Cleaning SG makes no warranties regarding the Service. All services are provided "as is". ASC Home Cleaning SG shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service.

15. TERMINATION

Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing one month's written notice. ASC Home Cleaning SG may terminate immediately upon breach.

16. COMPLAINTS

Complaints must be submitted within one month of the relevant transaction or within seven days of discovering any unauthorised activity.

17. GENERAL

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre.
