CLEANING SERVICES AGREEMENT

This Cleaning Services Agreement ("Agreement") is made on the date the booking confirmation is issued to the Customer.

PARTIES

ASC Home Cleaning SG
(the "Cleaning Service Provider")

and

The Customer
(each a "Party" and collectively, the "Parties")

BACKGROUND

  • A. ASC Home Cleaning SG operates a residential cleaning service in Singapore and provides home cleaning services to customers based on confirmed bookings.
  • B. The Customer has requested cleaning services through ASC Home Cleaning SG and has received a booking confirmation ("Booking Confirmation").
  • C. The Cleaning Service Provider has accepted the Customer's booking and agrees to provide the cleaning services in accordance with this Agreement.
  • D. The Parties wish to set out their respective rights and obligations relating to the provision of the cleaning services.

1. DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION

1.1 Incorporation

The background section forms an integral part of this Agreement.

1.2 Definitions

Unless the context otherwise requires:

  • • "Agreement" means this agreement together with any schedules or annexures, as amended in writing.
  • • "Booked Services" means the standard residential cleaning services and any additional services agreed with the Customer.
  • • "Booked Service Duration" means the estimated time required to perform the services.
  • • "Booked Service Fee" means the total fee payable by the Customer.
  • • "Booked Service Location" means the address stated in the booking confirmation.
  • • "Booking Confirmation" means the written or electronic confirmation issued by ASC Home Cleaning SG.
  • • "Cleaning Products and Equipment" means the cleaning supplies and tools used or required for the services.
  • • "Scheduled Booking Time" means the confirmed date and time of service.
  • • "Standard Cleaning Package" means the list of standard cleaning tasks provided by ASC Home Cleaning SG.
  • • "Tax" means any applicable goods and services tax imposed in Singapore.

Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF SERVICES

2.1 The Customer agrees to engage ASC Home Cleaning SG to provide the Booked Services and to pay the Booked Service Fee.

2.2 ASC Home Cleaning SG agrees to perform the Booked Services at the Scheduled Booking Time and Location.

2.3 The Parties acknowledge that ASC Home Cleaning SG provides services as an independent service provider, and nothing in this Agreement creates a partnership, employment, or agency relationship.

3. OBLIGATIONS OF ASC HOME CLEANING SG

ASC Home Cleaning SG shall:

  • • Perform the Booked Services with reasonable care, skill, and professionalism;
  • • Take reasonable precautions to avoid damage to the Customer's property;
  • • Use the allocated service time efficiently;
  • • Carry out the services in accordance with the agreed booking details.

3.1 Service Issues and Rectification

The Customer must notify ASC Home Cleaning SG within 24 hours after service completion if:

  • • The services are not performed to a reasonable standard; or
  • • Damage is alleged to have occurred during the service.

Upon verification, ASC Home Cleaning SG may, at its discretion:

  • • Return to rectify the affected area at no additional charge; or
  • • Offer a partial refund or fee adjustment.

4. OBLIGATIONS OF THE CUSTOMER

The Customer agrees to:

  • • Provide reasonable access to the premises;
  • • Ensure the premises are safe for cleaning staff;
  • • Secure fragile or valuable items prior to service;
  • • Inform ASC Home Cleaning SG of any issues within the 24-hour notification period.

The Customer confirms that the service location is a private residential property, not a commercial or business premises.

5. PAYMENT TERMS

5.1 The Customer agrees to pay the Booked Service Fee as stated in the booking confirmation.

5.2 Payment may be collected before or after service completion, depending on the selected payment method.

5.3 All fees are payable in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

6. CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

6.1 Customer Cancellations or Changes

  • • Changes or cancellations made at least 24 hours before the Scheduled Booking Time are free of charge.
  • • Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.

6.2 Service Provider Cancellations

ASC Home Cleaning SG reserves the right to reschedule or cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. Where possible, an alternative date or cleaner will be arranged, or a refund will be provided.

6.3 Refunds

Any approved refund shall be limited to the Booked Service Fee paid for the affected service.

7. TERMINATION

7.1 This Agreement commences upon booking confirmation and ends upon completion of the Booked Services.

7.2 Either Party may terminate this Agreement for material breach by written notice.

7.3 Cancellation of the booking automatically terminates this Agreement.

8. LIABILITY

8.1 ASC Home Cleaning SG shall not be liable for normal wear and tear, pre-existing damage, or items not reasonably secured by the Customer.

8.2 Liability, if any, shall be limited to the value of the Booked Service Fee for the affected service, except where prohibited by Singapore law.

9. GENERAL PROVISIONS

  • • Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver.
  • • Invalid provisions shall be severed without affecting the remainder of the Agreement.
  • • This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties.
  • • This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
  • • No third party has any rights under this Agreement.
